Debbie Schirmann

is passionate about healing generational trauma and helping people reset their nervous system through stillness, breath and movement. Working with people around the world, she hopes to make conscious healing tools accessible for everyday life and bring awareness to the importance of dreamwork. 

Debbie attended the University of Boulder for 3 years and ultimately graduated from Fort Lewis College, with a dual degree in Human Services and Sociology and a minor in Criminology. Throughought her studies she was an advocate for women in domestic violence shelters, a support person for the a sexual abuse hotline in Colorado and interned with a youth prison facility. 

She began her career at a law firm, then transitioned to work as a case manager for at risk youth and families in different career settings from; state programs, school systems, nonprofits and working for the government. She became trained instudies such as; human trafficking, alocohol and addicition, child abuse and neglect, trauma and generational patterns, individual and collective mental health and community building. This line of work attracted her because it helped her understand more about her childhood and because she hopes to positively impact the world. After almost a decade, she decided to transition into more of a center focus, inward healing career. 

Debbie then attended the Florida School of Massage, becoming certified in massage and hydrotherapy, which led to more mind-body education and became a Reiki Master Teacher and an ordained minister. She also studied Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness practices. As she grew to learn holistic wellness approaches, she deepened her connection to herself and created space to work on her own growth. In 2015 she created Love Today Therapy, which is an expression of her to assist persons live their best life and ‘Love Today’, providing a range of mind-body services both in person and online, custom to her clients needs. 

In 2020, Debbie answered the call of breathwork and apprenticed under Lisa McNett becoming a Certified Breathwork Facilitator and focusing her breathwork services to women and children throughout the motherhood journey and the early childhood years. She co-founded One Breath Institute, a trauma-informed and person centered Breathwork Education institution that provided healing services and world class breathwork certification training.
