Renee Kreienbrink
I was born in Ocala, FL and then went on to live in Birmingham, AL where I trained as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 1999. I then moved to Sarasota, FL and earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL in 2005. As an RN I have worked with patients in multiple settings. I've worked with veterans in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, cardiac patients at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and then with inmates in the Marion County Jail. I didn't hate the field of nursing, but I was disheartened. When I stepped into the world of allopathic medicine, I had high hopes but immediately felt that something was missing, yet I couldn't name what it was.
In 2007, I had a child with "extra" needs and therapies that started at 18 months old and continues to this day. The journey with him, as well as my own health needs made it VERY clear to me that the missing pieces are patient empowerment and self-sovereignty. WE are the missing piece! I believe that there is a place for traditional Western medicine, but the fact is that we can do so much to free and heal ourselves. In July of 2021 I started my Breathwork journey with One Breath Institute. I completed a 9-month program that focused on becoming a trauma-informed Breathwork Facilitator. It changed my life! Breathwork helped me to reconnect with myself—a part of me that was buried beneath layers of trauma and painful life events. I feel like a calmer, more grounded and loving version of myself.
In February 2022, I unexpectedly lost my dad. I can't say that I'm not still grieving because I will always miss him. Breathwork has helped me process through the loss & heartbreak in a way that would never have been possible otherwise, and for that I am so grateful. I believe that committing to a Breathwork practice and learning how to work with your own energy can absolutely change your life, and I would love to help you make that happen!
